9th November 2013 is our next meeting at the beautiful old Carnegie Library.
Bobbie will be teaching a class in the art of 'doodling with a purpose' - come along and learn this peaceful, zen-like art form. You don't have to be an artist to learn this - if you can draw these ... ( ) ^ ~ ` [ ] \ or | then you are already "there"! This type of doodling requires only one stroke at a time and it is surprising how fast those little strokes can turn into works of art!
Bring along gourds you have worked on or are at present working on for "gourd n' tell" and also bring along questions and ideas to share with everyone. Having a problem with a technique? Just ask and someone is sure to have an answer and be able to help you out - that's what gourd friends are for! As usual we will head out for lunch at a local eatery.
