2017 Annual Gourd Gathering Annual Meeting
Dates: July 20 - 23, 2017

Directions:
--we are about 1/2 way between 94 and 96, less than 1 mile west of US23 Territorial Rd. exit (#49). House is on the north side of the road. Our driveway is directly across from Hellner Rd., which makes it look like a cross road. There is a storage sign at the end of the driveway.
--you can also take 94 and exit onto M52 (Chelsea). Head north of 52 to Territorial Rd.-turn right (east). If you turn left instead the road is dirt and is Rau Rd or some name other then Territorial. Go 16 miles (total)--you will go through a traffic light at Dexter-Pinkney Rd about 8 miles from my house, then there will be a yellow flashing light at Webster Church Rd 2 miles from my house. We are on the left (north side) of Territorial, our driveway is directly across from Hellner Rd, which makes it look like a cross road. There is a sign for boat storage at the end of our driveway. If you get to the next traffic light at Whitmore Lake Rd, you have went too far. We are 16 miles west of 52.
--if you are coming from the Leslie area you can come across Territorial Rd. We are 35 miles from where it crosses Lansing Ave. Go east as far as 106/Cooper Rd. Territorial takes its first jog there. Take 106 north to where Territorial goes off to the right again-about 1 1/2 miles. Take Territorial again all the way to M52, turn right (south) on to 52 and go 5 miles. You will need to turn left back onto Territorial Rd. If you turn right instead the road is dirt and is Rau Rd or some other name other then Territorial. Go 16 miles (total)--you will go through a traffic light at Dexter-Pinkney Rd about 8 miles from my house, then there will be a yellow flashing light at Webster Church Rd 2 miles from my house. Lodging:
--camping-you are welcome to come and camp in our yard, we have a level cement pad for a motorhome or trailer, or you can park on the grass, tents are welcome also. We can run a cord out for electric.
--motel-there is a Best Western a few miles from here at 8 mile and 23, Whitmore Lake or lots of places in Brighton or Ann Arbor.
--staying in the house with us-I have one room available for Saturday night.
Food:
This is a bring your own food and drinks event. We normally go out for dinners or my husband sometimes grills for us. We have a refrigerator in the garage for storage. Everyone is welcome to use the kitchen, all I ask is that you please clean up after yourself.
MGS Annual Meeting:
Our annual meeting will be over a potluck lunch on Saturday at about 1 pm. Members and non-members alike are welcome to join.
**We will be gourding either in the garage or under a tent. We have a deck and several shade trees. If it is TOO HOT we can come inside, enjoy the a/c, and gourd in our sunroom.
**If you would like you could bring your own comfy chair or lawn chair.
